Megan Fox: "I Have Bouts of Mild Schizophrenia"

Megan Fox admits she's mentally unstable in a new magazine interview -- and could end up dying young like one of her icons.
"I basically read every book ever written about Marilyn Monroe," Fox, 23, tells the September/October issue of Wonderland. "I could end up like that because I constantly struggle with the idea that I think I'm a borderline personality -- or that I have bouts of mild schizophrenia. I definitely have some kind of mental problem and I haven't pinpointed what it is."

In the same story, Fox slams her Transformers director Michael Bay again. (After she called the action flick "not about acting," earlier this summer, Bay bit back that she "says some ridiculous things" in July.)
Bay is "like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is," Fox says, "So he's a nightmare to work.
"Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie," she goes on. "He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do."

For those of you saying she 'just wants attention'...those with Borderline Personality Disorder are attention starved and often identify themselves with stigmatized groups. I thought I had it...for years and years i knew deep down and never went to a doctor. Finally did, many many times, and I was right.

everyone who is defending Megan Fox you're embarassing yourselves. You cannot simply diagnose yourself with such a severe mental illness such as schizophrenia. By the way there is NO such thing as MILD schizophrenia. She just made that up. Megan Fox doesnt act strange at all. She's a normal person. Sure she says odd things but hey actions speak louder than words, anyone can just talk like a nutcase not everyone can actually BE one. Look at Angelina Jolie, I mean you could tell she was odd, apparently she had some sort of physical relationship with her brother and her attitude was odd. But Megan acts COMPLETELY normal, I've seen her interviews she's a normal 23 year old girl. She just says crazy things to try and convince people other wise. She decides to say crazy things instead of acting crazy because she can't act, even she acknowleges it.

Ugh, does she realize how serious mental illness is? It's not coool, or rebellious, or quirky. Dealing with mental illness is a daily struggle. For real, why won't she just shut up?
If Megan Fox knew a fraction of the inner turmoil and the cruel stigma thrust upon a person with this unrelenting illness, she would think twice about carelessly labeling herself with this title as if she has just said something endearing. I would gladfully give everything I have if my son's mental illness would abandon his body and mental being so that he could return to the outgoing, fearless, confident and happy young man he was before.
I doubt she`s bipolar, she shows no symptoms. She says she`s cut. Sounds like BPD.
