Mel Gibson Allegedly Threatens to Kill Ex in Explosive New Tape

Mel Gibson allegedly threatens to kill Oksana Grigorieva in new audio released by RadarOnline.com.
Grigorieva, 40, who split from Gibson, 54, last April, says she is worried about her life, and that of their 8-month daughter, Lucia.

"Boo hoo," says Gibson, as Grigorieva adds, "You were hitting a woman with a child in her hands...breaking her teeth... what kind of man...?"
Says Gibson, "Oh, you're all angry now. You know what, you f--king deserved it. I'm threatening to put you in a f--king rose garden, you c---. You understand that? Because I'm capable of it. Get a f--king restraining order. What are you going to get a restraining order for?!"
Gibson sounds out of control and out of breath for much of the eight-minute long recording.

"Don't hang up on me!" he rants. "I have plenty of energy to drive over there. And I will! So just f--king listen to me. Listen to my f--king ranting!.. Shut the f---k up! You should just f--king smile and b--w me because I deserve it!"
Gibson goes on, "You have no f--king soul... I left my wife because we had no spiritual common ground. You and have none, zero. You won't even f--king try. You don't care. You don't care." Gibson split from his wife of 28 year, Robyn, last year.

After Grigorieva says she refuses to apologize for anything, Gibson appears to go off. "Then you're a dishonest c---! I will not be patronized by you and your f--king dishonesty... I will make your G-damn life miserable."
He also allegedly loses it when Grigorieva says he needs medication. When she says she'll call the police, he sneers, "You're in my house, honey..."
Gibson also says, "The career is over! And, boy, when I said that, you lit out of here faster than ever before." (Indeed, he was just dropped by his longtime talent agency.)
On June 21, Grigorieva filed a restraining order against Gibson, alleging that he punched her in the face and knocked out her teeth Jan. 6. A Gibson source tells Us Weekly: "They got into it, but he absolutely did not injure her."

He then turned around and filed his own restraining order against Grigorieva, prohibiting her from speaking about certain aspects of their case.
They are both due in court July 20 over the restraining order.

The screaming was done to mask the voice so it would be more difficult to tell that it isn't really him. Plus, she is WAY too calm. And if this were a real phone call, not something she faked to record and use against him, she would have hung up long before the end of the recording AND if the accusations she is making are true and she was really afraid but was at the point of secretly recording their phone calls she would have taken it to a judge and gotten a restraining order right away (the call and recording are allegedly from shortly after the alleged January 6th incident). This is the sort of thing that happens in most households across the country every day. Except usually it's not caught on tape. I've seen my parents in much worse fights than this, but they always make up and forgive. People dislike Mel now because of some of the things he's done. It's like if you ask someone if they like getting their finger burnt, of course the answer is no even though everyone has at some point.

If she had not taped him saying all these terrible things, no one would have believed her claims. She HAD to tape him. Plus if someone is threatening to kill you and your life is in danger, wouldn't you tape them speaking about it, so you would have evidence for the police. She is just trying to make sure she and her daughter are safe.

So, okay, in all seriousness: Mel seems to be saying that a lack of common spiritual philosophy or value is a significant factor in the demise of his relationship with his ex-wife and now Oksana. That I understand, and it sure is sad to recognize that with one's partner. Is he trying to delve into a religion or spiritual approach aside from Catholicism? Spiritual searching and growth can fuel this crisis from within, but the venom that is coming forth points toward something having gone terribly wrong with him.
