Michael Lohan: Lindsay Shouldn't Return to Jail

Michael Lohan is outraged that his troubled daughter Lindsay has been sent back to the slammer.
"I'd rather be in jail than my daughter today," he told UsMagazine.com after Friday's shocking ruling. "Jail is not good for anybody."

He told Us he wishes Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox had sent the 24-year-old actress -- who has admitting failing at least one drug test - to rehab instead.
Said Michael, "She has not gotten the help with her addiction yet."

He lashed out at the actress' attorney Shawn Chapman Holley and manager Lou Taylor, whom he said got his daughter released early from inpatient rehab at UCLA Medical Center on Aug. 24. (Prior to rehab, Lindsay served nearly two weeks in jail in her three-year-old DUI case.)
"They are destroying my daughter's life," he said. "It is a horrible situation," he added.

He said that he hoped "God would come into her life and touch her."

Your daughter doesn't care if she gets caught Mr. Lohan because her sense of entitlement, that those around her allowed and cultured. Her "well oiled machine of a team" does their job well and guarentees that she receive little to no punishment. Jail is good for her and if you can't admit that you are just as bad as her "team". It keeps her away from outside influences and since she isn't interested in actually getting better it keeps society rid of your child hurting someone if she decides to operate a vehicle and provides some type of punishment that she dearly needs! Between her upbringing by selfish and clueless parents more concerned about hanging out on set and making a name for theirselves, her management team, and others in her inner circle you can't be surprised she is the way she is. While you were busy trying to be famous, you failed your child causing the justice system to deal with her.
if the parents had stopped this a long time ago, instead of denying it and encouraging it, she would not be here
Lindsay is finally getting the treatment that the rest of us would get if we broke the law...........Punishment.......... Yes she is an addict. yes she has a drinking problem. BUT, she also thought is was a joke to get released from jail early and then rehab early... So funny that she went out partying, got drunk, did drugs and failed her drug test.... The judge said 30 days for every failed test. Hopefully the judge is true to his word.. Then back to rehab.....

why does he blame everyone else but Lindsay. Lindsay IS THE PROBLEM. She has an addiction, stop blaming everyone else for her choices.
the only way this man will shut up is if lindsay talks to him. lindsay, we know you hate him, and that's fine. but the public is suffering b/c he is taking it out on us
No one is ruining Lindsay's pathetic life except for Lindsay herself. She's the one who keeps getting herself into trouble. I'm so tired of the all of the Lohan's...
He may have a past but you have to say he makes sense.. Hopefully his dumb-a**ed ex-wife hears those words. Instead she is preaching the previous judge got fired. Lindsay does not stand a chance if she listens to her Mother.
