Miley Cyrus' most shocking fashion move yet happened at the 30th Annual Night of Stars event on Oct. 22, when she swapped the fishnets and see-through shirts for an elegant Marc Jacobs aqua sequin-covered gown.
Cyrus, 20, was a presenter at the event, and tweeted about it on Oct. 23 saying, "I got to give the biggest superstars in the room a pretty rad award. Congrats to Robert and Marc @MarcJacobsIntl."
And though she was turning heads for all the right reasons at the event, Cyrus quickly went back to her old ways later that night, swapping her classy, floor-length gown for a short black romper, flannel shirt worn as a sweater belt, fishnet tights, and black platform sneakers.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer went to the Beatrice Inn -- a celeb-beloved restaurant and cocktail bar in downtown Manhattan -- and from the looks of a new Twitter photo she posted in the same outfit, she went out clubbing later that night.
"So it's true. If you turn the lights off and look into a mirror and say #turndown4WHAT 3 times fast shit gets TURNT," she tweeted along with a suggestive photo.
In the picture, the pop star is sitting on a countertop with her legs spread open. A bearded man with a blurred out face is standing between her legs wearing a leather jacket. The twerk-happy singer is holding dollar bills, flicking off the camera, and her infamous tongue is hanging out.
Next to her is an empty glass with ice cubes, but there are no signs of alcohol nearby.
In her defense, Cyrus has reason to celebrate. Her new album, Bangerz, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 270,000 copies in it's first week.
