Nick Cannon is seemingly liberating himself of wife Mariah Carey after announcing they've been living separately for months. The America's Got Talent host has covered up his "Mariah" tattoo with another larger tat. Cannon's new crucifixion tattoo was on full display when he stepped out shirtless after a workout in L.A.'s Studio City, on Oct. 5. Despite his attempts to cover up his wife's name, a hint of the letter "H" can still be seen on Cannon's right shoulder blade.
The move comes just days after Carey alluded to Cannon being unfaithful. While performing in Tokyo, the former American Idol judge changed the lyrics to Billie Holiday's classic "Don't Explain" from "And I know you cheat / Right or wrong, don't matter," to "I know you cheated, motherf--ker."
Us Weekly exclusively revealed in August that the couple, who wed secretly in 2008, are on the rocks. Cannon confirmed himself days later that they've been living separately. "There is trouble in paradise," the host revealed to The Insider With Yahoo. "We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
Together the couple share 3-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
