Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were the belles of the ball when it came to MTV’s audience cam livestream on Sunday, August 28, during the 2016 Video Music Awards. Almost every move the power couple made during the show was caught on film, including when Kimye appeared to ignore each other in a dressing room while Beyoncé was on stage killing it.

Prior to taking her seat next to the Life of Pablo rapper at Madison Square Garden in NYC, Kardashian, 35, was spotted backstage reviewing the teleprompter with BFF Jonathan Cheban. (Later during the awards show, she introduced Britney Spears, who performed alongside G-Eazy.)

During Rihanna’s opening performance, the Selfish author seemed to be enjoying herself, and West, 39, kept his arm wrapped around her.

When the rapper later took the stage to introduce his “Fade” music video, Kardashian immediately stood up from her seat to root for her husband. During his highly anticipated four minutes on stage, the “Famous” rapper called out his ex Amber Rose — who was in the audience — and called out Taylor Swift (yet again).

“This is fame, bro. Like — I see you, Amber,” West said while explaining his now infamous “Famous” music video.

He also praised Kardashian, who was glowing in the audience. “My wife is a G,” he added. “Not a lot of people’s wives let them say that.”

West’s new music video for “Fade,” which features Teyana Taylor dancing provocatively while dressed in dancer’s garb, then aired. In the video, Taylor has catlike facial features. “Do I wanna bang a cat now?” commentator Lizard Sheeple (played by Keegan-Michael Key) said as Kardashian laughed in her seat.

During Rihanna’s second performance, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star appeared to be getting bored — if not distracted. While her husband texted on his cellphone, the E! reality star chatted with Cheban, who was in the seat behind her.

No time for Bey? Kardashian and West were spotted on the audience and backstage cameras texting while sitting separately in a dressing room during Beyoncé’s explosive Lemonade medley.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star may have been preparing to introduce Britney Spears ahead of the pop princess’ performance with G-Eazy during Queen Bey’s performance. (Spears, 34, made her first appearance on the VMAs stage for the first time in nearly a decade on Sunday night, and performed right after Beyoncé.) Prior to making her way on stage, the social media maven Snapchatted a cute selfie with the “Hold It Against Me” singer.

Uh-oh! Kardashian seemingly scolded a distracted-looking West during Spears’ performance. The makeup guru appeared to tell her husband to put his phone away during the songstress’ “Make Me …” performance.

Before leaving for the night, the duo chatted with a bevy of their celebrity pals in the audience. The two also met Michael Phelps and his fiancée, Nicole Johnson. At one point, Kardashian could be seen taking a group selfie with the Olympic gold medalist and his ladylove.
