Exclusive: Pal: Eddie Cibrian's Sick of His "Philandering Sleaze" Image

Eddie Cibrian's discovered that his bad boy rep doesn't work on everyone.
The actor, who left wife of eight years Brandi Glanville, 38, in 2009 after Us uncovered his affair with LeAnn Rimes, 28, has hired an image consultant.

"He's tired of being portrayed as a philandering sleaze," a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now.
First up? "He made Eddie get rid of his Porsche and buy a Prius," says the insider.

The consultant also told the newly-engaged star, 37, to be seen more with his and Glanville's kids Mason, 7, and Jake, 3.

Says the source, "Instead of going to a Lakers game with his buddy, the consultant insisted he bring a son."

28FUNNY! He needs to hire someone to tell him the obvious. You need to be seen more with your children. That is just SAD that it takes some image consultant to tell him the obvious. Sorry the damage has already been done and there isn't much you can do to repair it. How about being a GOOD father to your children. That would do wonders for your image and your children's future. However, you will always have the stigma of being a cheater and will your soon to be wife. I wonder if you two will trust each other, since you both have proven you don't take marriage vows seriously.
As long as LeAnn and Eddie are a couple they will never be able to put "how they became a couple" in the past or forgotten! Miller and Getty put it in the past by publicly apologizing, admitting what they did was horrible and were ashamed of their behavior AND left their respective cheating co-adulterer partner. Both of their images have dramatically improved! They even both went back to former partners, which is not an option for LeAnn and Eddie because Dean and Brandi have moved on and recognize they're better people without those two POS in their lives. An image consultant worth his or her salt would advise Eddie to dump LeAnn. LeAnn won't stand for that and will rush Eddie into marriage, and both of their fates will be sealed forever!

Perhaps he won't be able to change his image, but he can start with change his behavior, values & just vow to be a better person for himself & his future family.

@Barbi- I think the shock and disgust come from the adultery part. You don't love your spouse, get divorced. They are cheaters and liars. Then they throw it in everyone's face? and want everyone to be happy for them? They can do what they want, but being happy for them, no.
Although I don't believe this story, this is Eddie's life now, he caused all of this so he will have to suffer the consequences of his actions, I truly doubt in the end Leeanne is worth this kind of trouble and he will dump her to save his image
Yes, because I've never heard of anyone falling out of love with their wife/husband, and falling in love with someone else. How shocking and disgusting! NOT!!! Leave him alone, already. They are obviously lucky to have found each other.

I really don't believe this article, both Leeanne and Eddie disgust me, but I don't believe any article when it says a source, I am sure Leeann made him get rid of the porsche because she doesn't want him attracting other woman with the car, she is terrified that he will cheat on her, (which he will) but she thinks she can stop it, so basically now she has become his watch dog, this relationship is over.
Well, maybe if he didn't want to be seen as a philandering sleaze, he shouldn't have been a philandering sleaze. If it takes an image consultant to make him take his son to a basketball game, he's dropped even lower.
It's completely sad and discusting that someone has to tell him to take his son to a sporting event. He can't do this on his own? You made your bed, lie in it, and get on with your life. Quit making excuses.
Aside from what you read in these magazines, we have no idea what arrangement he has with seeing his kids. It is so easy for us to judge and condem but unless we personally know these people, we are just as bad as the people who print these gossip magazines. At the end of the day, why do you even care what he has done, Does it effect your life in any way? And anyone who has been the topic of gosspic, how did it make you feel people talking about you? Yes he cheated on his wife. but he is happy now and i think we should all just let it go. After all it has been 2 years. And LeAnn is the one who will have to deal with him now. I loved that show Third Watch which featured him, Kim Raver and a few more really good actors...funny, he played a cheating, lying a$$hole on that show too....interesting...lol
Oh please! IF you have to hire someone who tells you how to act decent, you're not worth my dam time! I was glad when CSI Miami gave him the boot, I actually stopped watching once I learned he was a total dik bag. YOU'RE A FRAUD DUDE!
