Pal: Jesse "in Love With Sandra," Wants Marriage "to Survive"

Jesse James has not yet given up on his marriage to Sandra Bullock.
"Jesse is in love with Sandra," James' attorney Joe Yanny told the Associated Press Friday. The biker mogul checked into a rehab center earlier this week following numerous reports of his infidelity; Yanny would not specify what precisely his client is being treated for.
"This whole thing has destroyed Jesse's entire universe," Yanny said. "Right now, he's a broken man."

"The single most important thing to Mr. James and the children is that the marriage somehow survive."
In a statement, James said, "It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way." He didn't detail the specific allegations of affairs with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and other women.

"The allegations back and forth about what happened - those are private matters to be resolved between a husband and a wife," Yanny said. "He certainly will come out of this a better man...I hope he comes out of it with the things in life that he cherishes."

James, 40, faces an uphill battle: Bullock sources say in the new issue of Us Weekly that the actress, 45, "definitely" plans to file for divorce from her husband of nearly five years. "She is over him," the friend adds. The estranged spouses have kept in touch via short, not-so-sweet phone calls. "When they do talk, it's very little and very nasty," the friend explains. "She won't forgive him for this."
Bullock emerged briefly from hiding on Wednesday afternoon to visit the Beverly Hills home of billionaire Gabriel Brener.

Amazing the size of Jesse's ego - to think that it's OK to betray Sandra. This unattractive, fat, sloppy, grungy, tatoo-riden, low life, who should have knelt to thank God for bringing an agel (a FUNNY, intelligent, talented agnel) to his life - one who loved him more than he could imagine, raised him above his own frame of reference and one who WAS thankful for him. Jesse remains in denial: It sounds like he can't believe that "this thing has destroyed his marriage." Uh, Jesse: That was your thing that did it, with you at the helm, mister. And as far as his marriage "somehow surviving," what magic spell would that be? Take every ounce of responsibility, get your act together for yourself and your kids, and then see what life offers. Until then, stop prolonging this embarrassment and unkindness; if you really love Sandra, be quiet, let her call the shots, and take what you have coming to you.
To Maggie, it was not her mother's dying wish to get married. Sandra Bullock's mother told her not to get married. 'The Proposal' actress - who was largely single until she wed motorbike enthusiast Jesse James in 2005 -was warned off married life by her late mother Helga Meyer, who told her she should focus on her acting career instead. She revealed: "Believe me, my mother was like, 'Don't marry. Have a career.' Also, her mother died before she got married, but her mother's song was played at their wedding. Sandra will get over this, she is a strong woman.
It's interesting to see the public opinions of Jesse vs Tiger. The majority of people think Sandra should leave this guy, whereas the majority of people think Elin should work it out with Tiger. There is more hate for Jesse than for Tiger, which is very interesting to me considering Tiger had more affairs (that we know of anyway). So why is that? Is it because Sandra is America's seetheart and Elin is not? Is it because Sandra does not have any children to Jesse (biologically), and Elin has kids to Tiger? Or is it because Jesse has tattoos and is considered low-class and Tiger has a tonne of money and considered high-class? Can someone please tell me why the public is more forgiving of Tiger's infidelities than Jesse's??
