Friday night, around 300 of Prince William and Kate Middleton's lucky guests were invited to a royal reception at Buckingham Palace.

Prince William's kid brother and Man of Honor, Prince Harry, delivered a toast to the newly anointed Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. A guest told Us Weekly: "[Harry] was brilliant. We all wished he could have just carried on. It was perfect. He was very nice."

The pal added that the 26-year-old prince "was the model brother [and] said all the things he needed to say. It was perfect. He was a dude."

For the friends-only fete, 29-year-old Middleton changed into a stunning evening dress designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, and Prince William switched from his military uniform to a sharp black tuxedo. Middleton's sister and maid of honor, Pippa, changed into a gorgeous emerald dress by Temperley.
