On Sunday evening, an understandably somber Bobby Brown was photographed touching down at LA. The "My Prerogative" singer, 43, had canceled a scheduled appearance with his group New Edition in Nashville, TN that night in order to rush home comfort daughter Bobbi Kristina, 18.
Brown's daughter checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier that day after checking in with stress and anxiety-related symptoms. And who could blame her: Her mother, Whitney Houston, died suddenly on Saturday afternoon at age 48.
Discovered in her bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, the "I Will Always Love You" singer, who struggled with drug abuse in her later years, is now the subject of an ongoing death investigation.
"Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family. Again, I ask for privacy during this time," Brown said in a Sunday statement.
Bobbi Kristina is having a "total breakdown," according to one source. "She is freaking out, uncontrollably sobbing. We thought she was trying to kill herself. Everybody is worried."
