Redmond O'Neal Arrested Again on Drug Charges

Redmond O'Neal, the 24-year-old son of the late Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, has had another brush with the law.
He was arrested on a felony drug charge Dec 29 while on a 24-hour pass from his L.A. rehab program, according to RadarOnline.com.
He was taken to the Los Angeles Men's Central Jail. No bail has been set as of yet.
He was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning, according to his booking sheet, and could face up to six years in prison, since his latest violates probation terms of a previous drug offense.
O'Neal has been serving a jail sentence for violating his probation on drug charges and was undergoing intensive drug treatment.

You know, this man is disgusting. He had a mother who believed in and loved him enough to leave her entire Estate to him. She believed in her son so much that she really thought her death would get him off drugs. But, at the end of the day, the only thing Red loved was his drugs. He needs to go to jail, serve out his entire sentence, and sit in his cell and think about what he has done to the people who loved him. I wouldn't count Red out as a loser, just yet. But he's pretty damn close...
I don't excuse him because of his mother's death. However Redmond grew up in a home with drugs, abuse: physical, mental and emotionally. Farrah even though I liked her to partly to blame for that! She didn't give him a positve start in life! However, Redmond needs to leave Calif and go to Texas with his grandparents. It is too hard to change in the same environment. Pray that Redmond looks deep and makes the changes he needs to live a good life.

Redmond inherited 4.5 million from Farrah which Ryan O'Neal WOULD love to get his sick hands on. Redmond needs to locked up and that way he can be clean and sober for 6 yrs.
Redmond had dead eyes. He's a junkie and sadly a product of a toxic background. His life of privilege has been a long path of human degredation. He'll soon be dead.

He is an embarrassment to his parents and addicts in recovery. He is obviously not interested in rehabilitation and it is a waste of time and money. Jail it should be.
Redmond has the option to get help, as does any person with an addiction. He isn't doing so. If addiction is not a choice, certainly whether he gets help or not is a choice.

I shall pray for Redmond. One's life experiences do play a part in who we become and also genetics, as mentioned. Sounds like a miracle is needed. It's sad.

When you are young, white, rich, grow up in Malibu, and have famous parents you get all the second chances in the world. Does anyone realize the slaps on the wrist are not working for him? Ryan O'Neal may not have been the perfect parent but I hope to God he never has to bury Redmond along side his mother.
Sam, I used to feel exactly the same way. I think he really wants to be clean, but just can't for whatever reason. Speaking as someone who's never taken a drug in my life, I have no idea what addiction is like. But it must be a doozy to f**k people's lives up this way. I don't understand why people take drugs to begin with, but it must be something chemical to make them keep going back the way they do. it's a shame.
it would be awesome to see Lee Majors' step up and be a mentor/father-figure to Redmond. ryan O'Neal couldn't care less.
I have little sympathy. His money can buy him the best treatment, he can get help and be cured. He doesn't do it, instead he hurt his dying mother and all around him. He should be locked up, at least that may start his recovery. We, the average guy, would be locked up.
