Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have called it quits after more than three years together, two London newspapers are reporting.
Davy, 23, has been put off by Harry's wild-partying ways and asked him for a trial separation as she continues her law studies at Leeds University and Harry, 23, pursues his Army career, according to reports.
"She kept saying she needed to take some time out to re-establish herself," London's The Mail on Sunday quoted a source as saying. "She still loves him, but she feels she needs to carve an identity as her own person rather than as Prince Harry's girlfriend."
The source added, "This is not an over-for-good situation."
The News of the World tabloid also reports on the split. A spokesperson for the royal family has declined to comment.
