In addition to the palace's minute-by-minute schedule for Friday's royal wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton have released their own personal message of thanks.

It reads: "We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives. The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness."

Oh for the people 'cannot wait for this nonsense to be over' why waste time for those who are enjoying and looking forward to the nuptials. It's a royal wedding and I think it's something fun for a change. Yes there is world events that are serious and earth shattering. But it's just nice for a change to see happy events.

Sandra- Obama wasn't invited because William is not next to be king. If Charles was king then Obama (as well as the President of France) would have been invited. He wasn't snubbed, it's just how things are over there.

I can't wait for this nonsense to be over with. Why are we expected to celebrate a marriage that involves no wedding kiss and no wedding band for the groom? Please. Next distraction, please.

Alright already. I must say I am not personally that interested in this marriage. I am so tired of us as the world, celebrating uber rich people while the poor die. Wishing that they could get a little health care, a little food, a little water and they die in wait. While we spend ugly amounts of money on foulishness. I hope for Cate and William that the marriage is a good one. I think Diana's son has shown a decent example of who his mother would want him to be. But the extravagance and the snubbing of our President Obama is appalling. I guess he does not rate higher than Victora Beckem who will be attending. I understand that the wedding should be about the couple. I just think it is in bad taste not to extend the invite. I am sure he would not have attended.
