Samantha Harris Is Cancer-Free After Double Mastectomy: “It Feels Amazing”

Back to her old self! Samantha Harris told Us Weekly this week that she's now cancer-free. The Entertainment Tonight correspondent announced in April that she had breast cancer.

"To be able to say the words I am cancer-free feels phenomenal," the 40-year-old told Us at the Power of Pink: An Acoustic Evening with P!nk and Friends event in West Hollywood on Thursday, Oct. 23. "The beginning of this whole journey I didn't know where it was going to end. People talked about getting to the other side of the Breast Cancer diagnosis and I'm finally there and it feels amazing."

The former Dancing With the Stars co-host revealed in a tweet in May that she had underwent a "grueling" double mastectomy. Luckily now, however, she can return to doing everyday normal things with her husband, Michael Hess, and the couple's two daughters: Josselyn, 6, and Hillary, 3.

"I'm back to operating at one-hundred percent," she told Us Thursday. "It's sort of a new one-hundred percent, but I am feeling great. I am back at the gym. I flew to the east coast three times in the last four weeks, so I'm working a lot. Things are going really well." She added: "My husband has been amazing through the whole process."
