Shahs of Sunset star Asa Soltan Rahmati tells Us Weekly exclusively that she has written her first book, Golden: Empowering Rituals to Conjure Your Inner Priestess, about her life as an Iranian refugee living in foreign countries, and the rituals that guided her through her own quest to finding self-love.
“Writing this personal book was such an emotional journey for me. I went through my life and revisited the hows and whys as I came up with these rituals that guided me through hardships and obstacles in my life,” the 40-year-old tells Us. “You will laugh, cry and also have a ton of fun with the rituals in this book! Most importantly, it will remind you who you really are. Get ready to start living the life you were meant to live, lover!”
The TV personality’s book is slated to be published by North Star Way (an imprint of Simon & Schuster) on May 9, 2017.
As fans are already aware, a new book isn’t the only exciting development on the horizon! Rahmati and longtime boyfriend Jermaine Jackson II are expecting their first child together.
“My beautiful lovers, I’m so excited to finally share with you that my beloved soulmate Jermaine and I are expecting our first baby. We are 6 months pregnant,” she revealed via an Instagram snap on October 27.
The brown-haired beauty first met the nephew of the late Michael Jackson back in high school, and gushed to the Daily Mail that it was love at first sight, saying, “I knew I was going to be with him forever when I saw his face. He was one of the first faces I saw in America.”
