A Los Angeles Superior Court judge found the 36-year-old man accused of stalking gymnast and Dancing With the Stars champ Shawn Johnson guilty Friday, ruling that Robert O'Ryan was not legally insane at the time of his arrest last March.

Judge Michael Pastor found O'Ryan guilty of felony stalking and burglary charges along with two misdemeanor concealed weapons violations

O'Ryan, of Florida, was taken into police custody after he jumped a fence at CBS Studios in Los Angeles where Dancing With the Stars was filming. Police later found two loaded guns in the man's car, as well as duct tape and love letters to Johnson, who took home a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

"I didn't know him. He was a stranger to me. To see someone with that kind of obsession made me really scared," Johnson, 18, testified in court.

O'Ryan -- who waived his right to a jury trial and pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity -- will likely serve his sentence in a state mental hospital pending the results of a court-ordered evaluation.
