Update: Soccer Star Landon Donovan Files for Divorce

L.A. Galaxy star Landon Donovan is ready to play the field.
The 28-year-old soccer player filed for divorce from wife Bianca Kajlich in L.A. Tuesday, just ten days before their fourth wedding anniversary.
"We remain the closest of friends and will always be important parts of each other's lives," the couple tells UsMagazine.com in a joint statement.
The couple first separated in July 2009, nearly a year before Donovan was accused of fathering a love child with an unidentified British woman. ("I will not be a dad any time soon, which is good news for me," he later told E! News.)

Citing "irreconcilable differences," Donovan is seeking spousal support from Kajlich, who appears on CBS' Rules of Engagement. He is also requesting she pay his attorney's fees.
