In 2004 Lauren Conrad was a high school senior head over heels in love with her best friend Stephen Colletti. Ten years later — though LC is now married — the pair are still pals, and Colletti recently posted the photographic evidence.
The crew from Laguna Beach High School got together over the holiday weekend to celebrate their 10-year high school reunion. Conrad and her bestie Lo Bosworth originally made headlines when the pals shared a Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion-themed selfie on Saturday, Nov. 29, writing, “Um, we invented Post-Its. #LBHS10YearReunion.”
Colletti then showed there were no hard feelings between him and his former flame on Monday, Dec. 1, posting several cute photobooth shots featuring Conrad and her new husband William Tell on Instagram.
“Class of ’04 reunion. A little longer in the tooth but still just the right amount of crazy,” he captioned the photo.
Fashion designer and best-selling author Conrad sported goofy, oversized sunglasses while One Tree Hill star Colletti appeared to be wearing knight’s armor. She wed Tell in a beautiful September California ceremony.
Back in 2004, the high school pals were wrapped up in a highly publicized love triangle with fellow Laguna Beach costar Kristin Cavallari, who did not attend the reunion because she is a year younger than Colletti and Conrad.
The first season of Laguna Beach premiered on MTV in August 2004, several months after the OG crew had graduated. The reality show went on to have two successful spin-off series — The Hills and The City. Conrad, Cavallari, and Colletti remain the shows’ most successful cast members.
