Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad is a television personality, fashion designer, author and entrepreneur who rose to fame on MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills. Conrad was born in Laguna Beach, California, where she attended Laguna Beach High School before enrolling at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She later transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles to pursue her interest in fashion, later leaving to pursue a career in reality television.

Conrad made her television debut in 2004 on MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, which followed the lives of high school students in Southern California. After graduating, she starred in the spinoff series The Hills, which documented her personal life and early career in the fashion industry. The series became one of MTV’s biggest reality hits and helped establish Conrad as a household name throughout the 2000s.

In addition to reality TV, Conrad launched multiple fashion collections, including her eponymous fashion line for Kohl’s, and founded the lifestyle brands The Little Market and Lauren Conrad Beauty. She is also the author of the L.A. Candy novel series, as well as several fashion and lifestyle books, including 2010’s Lauren Conrad Style.

The reality TV star dated Stephen Colletti and later Jason Wahler during her reality TV years. She also had a high-profile relationship with Kyle Howard before marrying musician and former Something Corporate guitarist William Tell in September 2014. The couple share two sons, Liam (born in 2017) and Charlie (born in 2019).
