Suki Waterhouse Calls Talking About Boyfriend Bradley Cooper "Boring," Wants to Have Kids in "Not Too Long"
Suki Waterhouse isn't one to kiss and tell. In the January issue of ELLE UK, the 21-year-old British model is keeping her lips sealed when it comes to discussing her relationship with Bradley Cooper. But from what little she did say, it's clear the 38-year-old actor means a lot to her.
"I don't talk about my boyfriend because it's boring," Waterhouse said. "At least, that's what I decided to tell you when you asked.'"
But when the magazine asked the Burberry model if rumors were true that Cooper asked for her phone number at the ELLE Style Awards back in February, Waterhouse took the opportunity to set the record straight.
"That didn't happen there. But we did meet at the Style Awards, I'll give you that," she said. "Look, maybe it's best for me to say, 'I'm not one of those girls who goes on about their boyfriends.' I do think whatever I say will sound weird. But the truth is, if I start talking about him, I probably won't be able to stop. And I don't really want to talk about him, you know?'"
Cooper began dating Waterhouse back in March, shortly after ending his on-again, off-again two-year relationship with Zoe Saldana. (Saldana also quickly moved on, and secretly married Italian artist Marco Perego in June.)
Though Waterhouse strived to keep her romance with Cooper mostly private, she was willing to discuss her hopes for a family in the near future.
"I really like the idea of having kids in not too long. Not, like, now. And not next year. But in not too long. I talk to Jourdan [Dunn] about it quite a lot. She made the decision and had her parents and agency supporting her," she explained of the fellow British model, who welcomed son Riley at the age of 19 in 2009. "I think it's the coolest thing."
