Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez got goofy the way all superstar bestie do in a series of Instagram photos that they shared with fans on Friday, January 15.
In the cute images, Swift, 26, and Gomez, 23, peek out from within a giant growth of greenery with sly smiles on their faces.
“Are we out of the woods yet?” Swift captioned one version of the impromptu photo shoot, a nod to the music video for her single “Out of the Woods,” which features a fairy tale–esque theme.
Gomez’s version of the photo was just as fun — in it, she and Swift are laughing as they look off-camera.
“Are we in the clear yet?” the “Hands to Myself” singer captioned the adorable snapshot.
The pair have been close pals since they both started making waves in the music scene, and last year Gomez told Flare magazine that she’s always been grateful for their friendship.
“A bunch of women I look up to and admire are supporting one another,” she said in an interview for the November 2015 cover story. “And Taylor has such a beautiful way of bringing people together. That was good for me, because the more I started working, the more uncomfortable I was. I wouldn’t trust people, and Taylor has a way of stripping down everything and just getting down to being human. I love that.”
