Can’t live without them! From Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens to Brad Pitt and George Clooney, these celebrity best friends have stuck by each other side’s through thick and thin. Tisdale and Hudgens formed a lasting bond while working together on several projects. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody alum played Sharpay Evans to the Spring Breakers star’s Gabriella Montez in 2006’s High School Musical, 2007’s High School Musical 2 and 2008’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Their friendship continued long after the cameras stopped rolling, despite their onscreen alter-egos’ rivalry in the trilogy. “We just have a connection and she’s so awesome and one of my best friends,” Tisdale exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2019. “What I love about her is that she’s so talented, and I think what we share is that we’re really grounded people and I think that that’s important, especially with what we do, is to stay grounded.” [jwplayer nbLrmgXY-zhNYySv2] The “Voices in My Head” singer pointed out that their relationship goes further back than their Disney Channel days. “We actually worked together a year before in a Sears commercial, and from that day on we were super close,” she explained. “So people don’t really know — I think some people know that, but they think it was that movie that brought us together and it really wasn’t.” Hudgens later served as one of Tisdale's bridesmaids when she and musician Christopher French tied the knot in 2014. The BFFs expanded their circle after the Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure star welcomed her daughter, Jupiter, in March 2021. Two months later, the Princess Switch actress met her pal's little one and they had an instant connection. “Literally Jupiter opened her arms like hold me the minute she met Ness," Tisdale wrote via Instagram at the time. "It warmed my heart." Busy Philipps, for her part, revealed how she maintains her friendship with Michelle Williams years after the pals starred together on Dawson’s Creek. “Whether you’re, like, in the public eye or not, I think the secret to longevity in friendships is putting in the time and the understanding and working through any issues that might arise,” the Cougar Town alum shared exclusively with Us in June 2019. “I think that especially now with texting, it’s even easier to stay in touch with people and be communicative.” Scroll through to see which A-listers consider one another their BFFs!

Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh

After Yeoh won a Golden Globe award at the 2023 ceremony, her Everything Everywhere All at Once costar Curtis was the first to applaud the occasion. Several days later, the Halloween Ends actress was still proud of her pal.

“I'm still stunned that a moment of natural exuberance and joy, became some sort of a symbol for women supporting other women,” Curtis wrote in a January 2023 Instagram post, showing off her homemade shirt with a picture of the now-viral moment. “I proudly wear it. #FRIENDSSUPPORTINGFRIENDS is a perfect squad goal for 2033. … CONGRATULATIONS @michelleyeoh_official YOU ARE EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE!”

George Clooney and Julia Roberts

After two decades of friendship, Clooney joked about spending a lot of time with Roberts.

"There's been this restraining order now, that's why we're not here together," the actor, who once again teamed up with the Mystic Pizza star in Ticket to Paradise, quipped to Entertainment Tonight in September 2022. "She's a really good friend. She and her whole family are friends. I love their whole family."

Clooney also recalled living near his famous friend while shooting the movie, adding, "[Julia] lived down below us and she would come up and literally take the kids out for ice cream with my wife [Amal Clooney]. [Now] I can't shake her!"

“I feel really lucky that I get to do this with her,” the Broad City alum told Entertainment Tonight in August 2022 of her A League of Their Own costar. “I met D'Arcy in a commercial acting class and I just feel like this is just the [next level]. Like we've worked together in Broad City but not like in this capacity and it just felt so special.”

She gushed: “It made the dynamic of [our characters] Carson [Shaw] and Greta [Gill] just sort of jump way ahead. The chemistry's there cause we're so close as friends, and yeah, I just feel really lucky.”

“I think people think I'm exaggerating and lying when I say he calls every day,” the “Thinking out Loud” crooner revealed during a November 2021 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “He calls me every single morning. Even if it's like 10 seconds, every single morning he calls. … It's just become a daily thing and there's not many people in my life like that and I really, really appreciate him.”

As the Grease star attempted to replicate the Motley Crue performer’s peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipe, he needed some assistance. Lee shared the pair’s text exchange about the baking process via TikTok in November 2021.

In the clip, the Pulp Fiction actor explained, “OK, who would've thought that two superstars would spend their Wednesday nights making brownies and cookies, with fresh lemonade. Tommy Lee and JT, can't beat ‘em.”

Lee, for his part, responded, “Oh my god, buddy, my wife and I were just saying the exact same thing! I'm like, 'Who's sitting around on a Wednesday night?' I go, 'Could you imagine if people knew, like, Tommy and John are baking?' What happened?"

Mariska Hargitay and Melissa McCarthy

Not only have Camp and Snow played onscreen BFFs in three Pitch Perfect installments, but off screen they’ve become inseparable. Ahead of Camp’s wedding to Skylar Astin in 2016 (the two have since split), Snow celebrated her friend in style at a country-themed bachelorette bash. When Snow married Tyler Stanaland in March 2020, Camp was one of her many aca-awesome costars to attend the Palm Springs bachelorette party and California-based nuptials. (Snow and Stanaland called it quits in September 2022.)

The Bridgerton actor recalled being starstruck when he first met Brown in 2016 at a party, telling Variety in May 2021 that he told the This Is Us star, “I just want to be you” upon seeing him. "And Sterling just smiled patiently and let me do that and then talked me through how not to be overwhelmed by this room," Page remembered. "He reassured me and said, 'You've got stuff ahead of you. You can breathe.'"

Brown recognized Page from his role in Roots, telling Variety, "I remember thinking, 'Look at this dude doing the damn thing.’ He had this wonderful swagger about him." Since their initial meeting, the two have become good friends who Page has turned to for advice on many occasions. "He's talked me through a couple of things that scared me," Page said.

Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer

The actresses formed their friendship in the '90s and have continued to keep that bond strong over the years. McCarthy and Spencer even took their close connection to the big-screen when they starred together in Netflix's Thunder Force in 2021. The film follows the pair as two lifelong best friends who become superheroes after they take a special serum.

The Vampire Diaries alum told E! News in 2013 that she and the former Dancing With the Stars pro have been “connected at the hip” since their hairstylist, Riawna Capri, introduced them. Dobrev was later a bridesmaid for Hough at her July 2017 wedding to Brooks Laich. While Hough and Laich split in 2020, the professional dancer’s relationship with Dobrev is still going strong. The pair launched their Fresh Vine Wine label in spring 2021.

Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern

The actresses became close friends after starring in 2014’s Wild and going on a press tour together to promote it. “You know someone is your favorite person when you’ve done a day of press, listened to yourself ad nauseam, listened to them tell every story, and when it ends, it’s like, ‘Are we going to eat something?’” Dern said of the experience in an interview with Vanity Fair. The two have since worked together on Big Little Lies, often go hiking together and in 2020 Witherspoon gave Dern tips on how to drink tequila during an Instagram Live chat.

After meeting on the set of Riverdale in 2017, the New Zealand native and Disney Channel alum have become very close. They’ve traveled together, trolled each other via social media and Sprouse has photographed Apa as part of his passion for photography. In 2020, the two started quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic at Apa’s place in L.A. “I heard they’re just lifting weights and eating cheese,” Sprouse’s twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, told Entertainment Tonight in May 2020 about the duo’s living situation. “I think that’s what they do.”

It wasn’t until 2019’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood that this duo acted alongside one another, but the bromance it created is already stuff movies are made of. During Pitt’s numerous awards show acceptance speeches in 2020, he showed how much he loves DiCaprio. “I also have to thank my partner in crime, LDC,” the Fight Club star said at the Golden Globes when accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. “He’s an all-star, he’s a gent.
