B.J. Novak

Starring as Ryan on NBC’s The Office, B.J. Novak is no stranger to pulling double duty both in front of and behind the camera. Assisting The Office staff as both a writer and supervising producer, Novak has penned some of the show’s most memorable episodes.

Born in 1979 in Newton, Mass., he first appeared on Ashton Kutcher‘s Punk’d, where he is famously remembered as Hilary Duff‘s driving instructor. The funnyman, named by Variety as one of 2003’s “Ten Comics to Watch”, has also showcased his material on the Comedy Central series Premium Blend and on the silver screen in Reign Over Me and Knocked Up.
