Sophie Turner

British actress Sophie Turner made her acting debut in 2011 as Sansa Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones. She played the character on the HBO drama for all eight seasons, which ran from 2011 to 2019.

In 2013, she made her film debut with Another Me. She went on to star in other films including, 2015’s Barely Lethal and 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse.

In 2019, the Heavy actress reprised her role as Jean Grey for the Dark Phoenix, where she played the lead character. That same year she starred in the Jonas Brothers’ music video for “Sucker” alongside her then-boyfriend Joe Jonas, his brothers and their significant others, Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra.

Turner has been nominated for numerous awards including an Emmy for Game of Thrones and four People’s Choice Awards.

The actress and her musician husband said, “I do” in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019, making their marriage legal in the U.S. and kicking off their wedding festivities. Turner and Jonas then exchanged vows in front of friends and family on June 29, 2019 in France.

The pair welcomed their first daughter, Willa, into the world in July 2020. Turner gave birth to the couple’s second daughter two years later, announcing the news in July 2022. After four years of marriage, Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023.
