Zoe Saldana's summer love is just heating up! Less than two weeks after the actress was spotted making out with artist Marco Perego at Star Trek Into Darkness' Hollywood premiere afterparty, the 34-year-old packed on the PDA with her new beau in his native Italy on Monday, May 27.
Wearing an all-denim look, the sexy star shared a passionate kiss with the former professional soccer player. "They have an attraction," a source tells Us Weekly of Saldana and Perego. "Marco is happy to be hanging out with her."
Prior to romancing Perego, the Avatar actress dated Bradley Cooper on-and-off throughout 2012. Saldana was previously engaged to MYFDB.com co-founder Keith Britton; they called it quits in November 2011 after more than a decade together.
If Saldana seems smitten with Perego, it shouldn't come as a surprise to her fans. "I believe in love because I had it for so long, so I know it's possible," she tells the June issue of InStyle UK. "I'm not one of these people who's going, 'Oh, because I was with someone for so long I need to take a break.' What if love is just around the corner?"
Tellingly, Saldana says her ideal guy is both a "badass renegade" and "a pirate who can cry." According to The New York Post's Page Six, Perego is "known as the Pirate Perego because of his long hair and resemblance to Johnny Depp."
