Many stars have lost there "stardom" for trying to use there influence to promote there political agenda. I like Angelina, and I belive in her cause, but I feel she needs to keep them seperate like the seperation of church and state.

haters r pathetic, im totally with u on this...i am an african and have seen difference Ange has made in parts of Africa. her presence means the leaders will take action as the situations are put put out in open...for someone who is "a publicity seeker" she does a fine job in pretending every day of her life...insted of being negayive and criticise,why dont u just applaud her efforts...allof u just sit on ur fat asses and do nothing to help out a single person in the world. she has changed lives of her adopted kids and many more!!!
I think visit to Bosnia for 2 days was pathetic. Angelina is using Bosnia to further reinforce her fake image of being a "humanitarian". In return she publicize herself as reward ( not the actual problem of the country ) Angelina could of been in Bosnia 16 years ago when it was needed. Now after 16 years, its too late to make up with 2 days. There is nothing you can do in 2 days. Visiting older people and families makes no difference really. The pictures are not enough. What would make a difference is not being involved with a married man and inserting herself in a marriage a couple of years ago. Not snatching children illegally from poor mothers and countries and actually not taking care of them. Perhaps donating to charities other than Jolie-Pitt foundation and anonymously. Bosnia is already liked and represented by 1/2 of celebrities - it is too late for her now to appear from nowhere and pretend she is making a difference in 2 days.

You see how the prez goes around to other countries taking photos talks to people, it may or may not help. But it's called trying. Trying to make a different. If nobody did anything like you the loser you are, then it ain't life. She brings a smile to even one person and it makes a difference to the. The prez visitng Haiti, you see much of a difference? Nope, but it makes a difference. And that's what matters. Maybe if you feel it in your self to do something remotely altruistic you'll be a better person. But for now, you're just a sad petty loser. She doesn't need to fake a romance, pose nude or hide behind dyed blond hair... Angelina is an icon and her work with UNHCR has been a part of her life for over five years, she has made many, many covert trips that the public are not aware of. She is using her profile to shine the light on the the plight of refugees whose lives are filled with horror, isolation, death, disease and pain. Her political savvy has attracted funding from Governments around the world and helped expose the despots who perpetuate this horror. Angelina has walked through war zones, sat down and eaten with the dying and diseased, she takes risks with her own life to help those who do not have a voice. She is a magnet for terrorists and dictators who do not want their people empowered and would rather the plight of refugees in their countries remain a dark secret. This incredible woman brings a light to the world that few will ever be able to emulate. I am disgusted by comments filled with hate and envy by those who are fortunate enough to be have the money and time to be on this site. What have you contributed to the world? Would you use your fame to rattle powerful, intolerant, militant despots?? Her courage and commitment is undeniable and her grace under fire, from political fanatics and paparrazzi parasites. Brad has also gained a depth of character since meeting Ange, not the pot smoking, self indulgent, stale cardboard cut out he was in his last relationship. Really look into Ange's life and career before you comment, or just keep posting stupid, banal comments about how much you hate Angelina, this really says so much more about the type of person you are.
Angelina is incomparable, her incredible beauty, enviable physique, intellect, versatile innate talent, loving partner and beautiful children are a magnet for envy. Truely beautiful woman are often spurned by other woman. I really encourage those who view her through the distorted lense of hatred to watch her films, she internalises the character with a resultant raw, honest emotion that is so rare in Hollywood today.
Angelina's an exhibitionist. First it was tongue down Billy-Bob's throat for all the world to see - over and over again. She was "Sinner Girl". Now she's "St. Angelina" saving the world one photo-op after another -over and over again. It's all well-orchestrated out of self-interest....and a desperate need for constant attention.
I think people like barbs below me are nutcases for coming up with such ridiculous assumptions about people they've never even met. They donate a lot of money, because they make a lot of money. They get their pictures taken because they are famous. And they go to these countries to make a difference in another person's life, even if it is only a smile.
Angeline Jolie needs a lot of publicity for selfish reasons, even to the extent of using innocent people and victims of calamities and wars. She is so pathetic just like her man who looks so miserable these days. Gosh, leave those people alone, words are not enough, smiles are the worst you can give to people who are suffering. Wake up girl, they need basic things such as food, shelter, etc. and not your diminishing beauty. You are a hopeless case -- a nut case I should say.

to "serious condition" i agree with you, she goes to all those places, takes a few photographs, talks to the press and then leaves, those people in afganistan are still living in those conditions. she has 303 million in the bank, yet she doesn't truly make a difference... this is purely for publicity. and to the Bosnian who keeps coming here... i'm sorry for what you've gone through, but not everyone who doesn't like angelina are spoilt selfish brats, i live in Africa, and my family and i don't have alot of money, we've gone through times where we had no money at all, if angelina came to us personally and wanted to take a picture, i would tell her straight up i don't need your phony crap, this woman makes me sick, seeing her may make some smile for a while... but after she's gone, whats left? i read in one of the comments that after haiti, vin diesel was there for days pulling people out of the rubble yet he didn't photograph the events, those are the type of people we need, people who GENUINELY care
