    Another point that would help the media with some of their IGNORANCE as it relates to MJ understand some of the diseases he suffered. One of those was Discoid Lupus that MJ was diagnosed. In the 2nd photo from the Thriller era, Michael has rosey cheek or a butterfly rash. That is associated with Discoid Lupus which would later create issues for MJ and is one of the reason he carried an umbrella.

    Another point that US ignores and it's strange you can see it in the 2nd photo. Michael also suffered from a skin disorder called Discoid Lupus. In the 2nd picture you can see the redness on his cheeks which is the classic butterfly rash associated with those with that disease.
