The Salt actress, dressed in a stunning black strapless gown, posed for photographs hand-in-hand with her handsome partner at New York City's Ziegfeld Theatre, evidently unaware that her cheeks, forehead and decolletage were glistening white due to an excess of powder.

The couple joined fellow superstar Julia Roberts to celebrate the launch of Pitt's latest producing project—a TV film based on Larry Kramer's play and directed by Glee's creator Ryan Murphy focusing on the rise of the HIV/AIDS crisis in New York in the early 1980s.

After posing on the red carpet, Brangelina headed into the theatre, and were stopped by Vogue editor Anna Wintour who was talking to designer Valentino. A source tells Us Weekly, "Anna Wintour stopped Angelina and said, 'I don't think you've ever met Valentino before?'"

Clearly unfazed by Jolie's makeup mishap, Valentino was delighted by the actress. The source continues, "Valentino was clearly thrilled and was talking about how they had to get Angelina into one of his dresses."

It's been a hectic week for 38-year-old Jolie, who's been busy promoting her upcoming Disney flick Maleficent in Paris, London and New York.

Because this is the first time the busy mom-of-six has hit the headlines for anything less than red carpet perfection since the hilarious right leg incident at the Oscars back in 2012, we think we can cut her some slack!
