After debuting a sleek new hairstyle and darker color on August 15, Jennifer Love Hewitt kicked up her beauty game even more by trying out one of the summer's hottest trends at the Cafe premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday: nail art!

Clad in a sexy orange Herve Leger bandage dress and tan heels, the 32-year-old actress donned a mix-and match manicure, which featured a gold "xoxo" on her ring finger, plus different black-dot designs over nude lacquer on her other nails.

Recently, stars like Hewitt have been experimenting with manicures in eye-popping colors and fashion-forward designs. Twilight star Nikki Reed sported a photo manicure with her fiance's face at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on August 7. AnnaLynne McCord and Kimora Lee Simmons are two celebs who've been spotted wearing fluorescent yellow nail lacquer this summer.
