When the news came out that Duchess Kate's hairstylist, Richard Ward of the James Pryce salon in London, would be joining her on her and Prince William's North American tour, we were all about it. We love a girl who knows the importance of good hair wherever she goes.
By now, we're used to seeing the 29-year-old donning picture-perfect blow outs, but it looks like Ward is already switching things up.
Although she boarded her flight with her hair down around her shoulders, the royal emerged upon landing in Canada with her strands pinned in a half-up, half-down 'do. She made her North American debut in a navy, lace Cecile shift scoop-backed dress by Erdem Moralioglu featuring sheer lace sleeves with a scallop detail and nude, platform heels.
The last time we saw Kate in a half-up style was on her April 29th wedding day.
