After landing one of Hollywood's most sought-after pop stars, some might slack off a bit in the looks department. On the contrary, Selena Gomez has stepped up her style and beauty game even more since dating teen dream Justin Bieber. Clad in a Giambattista Valli dress and Casadei shoes at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, the 18-year-old sported defined eyes and pretty pink lips. Celebrity makeup artist Karan Mitchell tells Us Weekly how to get Gomez's sexy makeup look:
Eyes: Mitchell dusted a light brown shadow over her entire eye area and used a tan hue under her brow bone and on the inside corners of her eyes to make them pop. Next, Mitchell lined Gomez's upper and lower lashlines with COVERGIRL Perfect Blend eyeliner in Basic Black. To define the singer's eyes even more, Mitchell went along her upper lashes with a black liquid liner and drew a slight wing on the outer corners. And since a star is never red-carpet ready without an enhancement or two, Mitchell added a few individual false lashes and loaded on COVERGIRL's newest mascara (out in July), COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Water Resistant Mousse Mascara in Black.
Skin: For Gomez's picture-perfect skin, Mitchell used COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation in Oak. Next, she added a pop of color on the star's cheeks with a cream blush applied right under her cheekbones and blended upward.
Lips: Mitchell finished off Gomez's look with a soft, shimmering pink lipstick. For a youthful touch of sparkle, she added a coat of COVERGIRL ShineBlast Lip Gloss in Dazzle.
