Cute couple alert!
Jennifer Garner hosted her annual Save the Children Illumination Gala on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in New York City, and, naturally, her supportive husband, Ben Affleck, was right there by her side. In fact, the couple, married since 2005, coordinated their styles in matching black ensembles at the event.
Garner, 42, shined on the red carpet in a body skimming Calvin Klein LBD that showed off her toned arms. She finished off her sophisticated outfit with black satin pumps and sparkling jewels. Affleck, also 42, was in tip-top shape and looked buff in a black suit and a bright blue tie.
The date night for the couple was a glam switch-up of their normal routine. "Well, we're boring parents, so we just play with the girls," Garner told Us Weekly. "I'll usually cook a meal for everyone and help them with homework, that's usually our date night."
Affleck, who was honored with the Global Child Advocate Award, gushed over his wife in return. "My wife is an amazing and strong woman," Affleck told Us. "I'm so happy to be here supporting the work that she does."
Garner added, "He's being an amazing husband and supporting me by coming out to my charity."
