Giving her best Givenchy! Beyonce was the second-to-last celebrity (behind Madonna) to grace the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala in NYC on Monday, May 6. Taking a break from her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, the 31-year-old "Bow Down" singer — the honorary cochair for the 2013 ball — certainly made a memorable entrance with a custom skirt by Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci: a mile-long skirt in black cady printed with flame motifs and embroidered with flame cutouts.

Blue Ivy's mother paired the skirt with a super-tight python leather corset, long gloves, a python belt with gold eyelets and thigh-high, printed cady thigh-high boots that matched her skirt.

"It's all about the boots!" Beyonce told reporters. The superstar also admitted that she was suffering a bit for the evening's look — particularly that crazy-tight corset. "I"m going to need scissors to cut the string," Beyonce confessed. It's the second Met Gala in a row for the superstar — who bared more skin at last year's bash, which took place just a few months after the birth of her daughter.
