Serena and Blair do fashion battle once more! The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala brought out the best of the best in New York City on May 5, including former Gossip Girl costars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester.

Lively, the face of Gucci's fragrance, stunned in a custom designed Gucci Premiere silk chiffon blush gown embroidered with rose gold paillettes. The 26-year-old (who played sweet socialite Serena Van Der Woodsen on the CW series) paired the plunging neckline, fitted bodice and soft mermaid silhouette with ruby-colored jewels and a pair of blush satin open toe heels.

Matching her to perfection was her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who also wore custom Gucci. The 37-year-old looked dapper in a midnight blue velvet one button Signoria tuxedo with grosgrain shawl lapel, white evening shirt, ruby-colored bowtie, navy grosgrain cummerbund, and black patent leather lace up shoes.

The couple, who married privately in September 2012, looked all the more in love as they beamed for photographers while posing together on the red carpet.

Equally as stunning was Leighton Meester. The 28-year-old opted (once queen of the upper east side Blair Waldrof) for a gold embroidered Emilio Pucci gown which she paired with David Yurman jewelry and a Smythson clutch.
