Who doesn't want to wed like a celeb? We're in awe of their gorgeous couture gowns, dazzling over-the-top decor  and buzz-worthy A-list guest lists. But let's be honest: the average bride-to-be is working with a much smaller budget. The good news is that there are lots of easy ways to pull off a celeb wedding for less. Here are a few of our favorite tricks:
Pick a Unique Venue
Celebs with million-dollar budgets can afford pricey setups, flowers and decor to create the mood they want, but the average bride has to cut a few corners to pull off seamless decor. Choosing an alternative venue with built-in style (think: a museum, library, or wine bar) will cut costs on decorations while still providing the ambience you're looking for on your big day. Your wedding site will look fabulous -- simply for the cost you pay to use the space.
Get Personal
Stars pull out all the stops to ensure that their weddings not only wow their guests, but also serve as an intimate affair for all. By adding personal touches to a few of your wedding details, you'll create a one-of-a-kind event your guests will never forget. Personalization doesn't have to cost a bundle if you're willing to get creative: Have wedding logos designed and made into stamps that you can use for all of your stationery and favor bags, or consider adding your favorite childhood dishes (his and hers, of course) to the menu. Your guests will love it!

Don't Scrimp on the Photographer
Before you cut back on photography for your wedding, stop and ask yourself, What would Fergie do? One thing's for sure: she wouldn't get all dressed up for her wedding, complete with flawless hair and makeup, only to risk letting an amateur take her picture. The special moments you share with your guests on your big day will last forever -- caught on camera! -- so remember that you'll get what you pay for.
Go With a Theme
Ashlee Simpson married rocker Pete Wentz in a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception in her parents' backyard that featured an Alice in Wonderland theme in May 2008. From the 10,000 Black Magic roses on display to the
"Eat Me" and "Drink Me" shooters served at the reception, the pair showed true commitment to their theme and executed it in every detail. It's a lot easier to pull off a big event when you have a theme to work with -- details come together much more easily, and your guests are guaranteed to still be talking about it on their way home!
