Diane Von Furstenberg's clothes have been spotted on every star from Kate Middleton to Jessica Biel, and now even pint-sized fashionistas can look posh in the designer's signature designs -- for an affordable price!

For Gap's latest collaboration, DVF Loves Gap Kids, the designer has whipped up several adorable pieces in eye-popping colors and prints for kids, toddlers and babies.

"Normally I always say no to these kind of things, because I tend to think that I want little ones to grow up and wear my clothes, but this time I said yes," the 65-year-old German designer told Us Weekly at the launch event for the collection in Los Angeles March 3. "It's a collaboration in and out and it's fun. It's very cute! I like the spirit of it. I like the optimism and the color."

The line will hit stores on March 15 with a second collection due on shelves Holiday 2012.

Von Fuestenburg follows in the footsteps of British designer Stella McCartney, who created a childrenswear line for Gap in 2009.
