Doctors Explain: What's Wrong With Angelina's Face

Angelina Jolie was photographed in Venice, Italy Wednesday afternoon with two protruding muscles where her chin meets her neck.
The photo was not altered, as Jolie, 34, sported the same facial protrusion at the BAFTA awards in February 2009 (see bottom photo, at left).

UsMagazine.com consulted a number of plastic surgeons to find out what's really going on because, as Beverly Hills-based Dr. Gabriel Chiu tells Us, "it's unlikely that the banding can occur from strong facial muscles alone."
Dr. Elie Levine, who has not treated Jolie, says that it appears she's "received Botox to her face and likely her neck" because she shows "no wrinkles along the sides of her eyes (the crow's feet) despite that very large smile... and her forehead is smooth."
Dr. Chiu believes Jolie may have had a "minimally invasive procedure" to lift and suspend "the tissues in her neck, jaw line and lower face."
Dr. Brian Glatt concurs. "Angelina appears to have had a procedure done to tighten her lower face, neck, and jaw line such as a mini or lower facelift," he says.

If she had a mini-facelift, Dr. Andrew Jacono says the skin was not lifted far enough back.
"Think of it like making your bed," he says. "If you don't pull the sheets tight enough, they'll appear wrinkled and bunched at the corners."
But Dr. Lyle M. Back believes Jolie has not received any cosmetic surgery. He credits the protrusion to Jolie's "very thinned out skin -- tented and pulled over the edge of the angle of her jaw" as the result of her having less than 10 percent body fat.

"Body builders love to employ a variety of techniques to get their skin looking this thin so that the judges can actually see the striations and fiber lines in their muscles through their skin," he adds.

Less than 10% body fat is NOT enough for a healthy female. Everyone agrees that Angie is quite beautiful, but a photo is showing us that it is possible to be too thin. As I age I find that a little body fat and plenty of moisture (h2o)is the safest and best way to support healthy skin on a cellular level, where collagen production makes skin firm and tight. And of course, NO sun EVER, cigarette smoke, alcohol, pharmaceutical type stimulants or drugs, refined sugar, or stress. Mega-secret: Get plenty of sleep each night and eat a balanced diet. Forget about Angie for a minute.What about Brad! He has aged at least 20 years in the last five. He was a beautiful man when he left Jen. I know we all age, but not that fast! His is the face of a VERY unhappy man who is under constant stress in his personal life and is abused by his partner. As for the princess herself, just before she and Brad hooked up she was showing up on the red carpet in black leather pants, torn t-shirts with a blood vial hanging around her neck telling everyone that she and Billy Bob just had sex in the limo. CLASSY!!! Now all of a sudden she is Mother Theresa. I can't take away from the good she does around the world but charity starts at home. Also, unless she is on a UN mission. She really acts like she is better than everyone else. If I were Johnny Depp's woman, I would attach myself to his ass. I would trust him, but I wouldn't trust Angie as far as I could throw the Statue of Liberty! I think she is a beautiful woman on the outside (at least before I saw that picture) but inside she is very ugly, cruel, selfish, abusive and crazy.She has no morals and gets what she wants no matter the cost to others, including Brad.

I think she really likes Brad....i saw one interview...when they asked her about brad...she sort of gushes and speak in a soft sweet voice...haha. I think she is not eating well, dunno why...maybe image and weight conscious after pregnancy.....after all her image is her bread and butter...i.e actress.

Anyone who thinks she had surgery or thinks she is unattractive is crazy. I think she is flawless and so sexy, and so does my boyfriend. She is, and always has been, gorgeous. Those lips alone blow other starlets out of the frame.

Ah, pardonez-moi ... that should be six kids under the age of nine!!!!!! Maddox will turn nine this year â?? wow, already. But I haven't seen a single photo where those kids don't look anything but bonded to their parents â?? and vice versa. Parenting is stressful, forget x6!!!!!!
