How We Met: We were both cheerleaders at Arizona State University. We were partners, so we like to say, "He swept me off my feet." We always had a great attraction to each other.
Our Dream Wedding: Our dream wedding is romantic, yet chic and glamorous. We love the Tuscan feel to weddings. We envision candlelight, flowers everywhere, crystals, dramatic lighting, amazing food and drinks, and best of all, two people in love.
Obstacles We Overcame: When we first met, I, Karla, had severe endometriosis, which would cause me to break down during cheer practice in writhing pain. I had a few cervical cancer scares, which I beat after a few painful procedures. Later, I was in a car accident, which resulted in two years of physical therapy and left lots of strain on the relationship. We also began to build a house together, which we were unable to move into due to the economy. Our relationship has been through so much, but it has only made us a stronger couple and we know we can get through anything now.
Our Favorite Celeb Wedding: We have so many favorites! Eva Longoria's, Katie Holmes', Khloe Kardashian's–they all had beautiful timeless weddings. We have always wanted a wedding that our guests would never forget but also one that's timeless; one that everyone had a great time at and would walk away from and still be talked about.
Why You Should Pick Us: This is all we've ever dreamed about. When we got engaged we said we would wait two years until we got married. We are paying for our wedding and if we want a nice wedding it's going to take us a long time to save up. We are fighters. We have overcome a lot, but at the end of the day we are a couple madly in love and can't wait to get married and start a life together.
