Friday Night Lights' Hunk Taylor Kitsch Chops Off His Hair!

As if it's not bad enough that Friday Night Lights is over, the show's sexiest male character Tim Riggins, (played by Taylor Kitsch), just cut off his signature long, wavy locks.

The 30-year-old star debuted his dramatic new look at the Disney D23 expo on August 20, where he was promoting his upcoming flick, John Carter.

"What an honor it is to play the title character. This is a great cast!" Kitsch said of the sci-western. "It was an incredible, fun time. I got scars, still weep quite a bit and still have nightmares!"

Rumor has it that the mane makeover is for his role in the highly-anticipated Oliver Stone movie, Savages, costarring Blake Lively.

He's had his hair short for awhile now. Since he started filming Battleship at least & he's already done filming that. He's currently filming "Savages" now. If you have checked out the trailer for "Battleship" you see him getting his locks buzzed off. Either way he still looks good lol

It doesn't matter, Taylor Kitsch is gorgeous. He can wear his hair long or short, he's still hot either way.

I think this is a hair fashion dictated by hottie men from Australia (notice how they all have very short hair - Sam Worthington, Andy Whitfield, Liam McIntyre, etc?). It's fine with me. Now if they could just do away with the not-so-clean-looking facial stubble.
