Ciara has plenty to say about style!

The R&B singer, 23, told Usmagazine.com during an exclusive photo shoot that she is "tomboy chic."

She tells Us: "I have moments where I like to get really glamorous and I like to get sexy, but I also want it to feel a little edgy and I want a little toughness in it."

The singer rocked sequins with tattered jeans while singing in the recording studio, but when out for a shopping trip in L.A., she finds ways to put her own mark -- a "young edge!" -- on sophisticated staples.

"The goal here is ... let's give it a little extra oomph," she tells Us. "Let's put the Ciara on it. Let's really personalize it and tailor it to who I am."

Still, on a regular day, even she can't predict her look.

"I can wear my Louboutin boots with a T-shirt and jeans or be as dramatic as I want to be," she says. It's all about how I feel that day."
