You may remember that I had the pleasure of shooting a hair feature for the magazine and a fun video (which aired on this blog!) with Natasha Bedingfield back in June. I so enjoyed spending time with her and I was struck by how cool and lovely she was; seriously, the type of girl that anyone would want to be friends with!
Loved her look at the American Music Awards on Sunday -- not only because her shag looked hot, but also because her hair cut is so easily relatable to women growing out their layered cuts. Bedingfield's stylist, the super hot hair guru Caile Noble of L.A.'s Serge Normant at John Frieda salon, tells UsMagazine.com how he did the look.
First, he spritzed volumizing spray at the roots to create lift, then he used a small round brush to blow dry, lifting from the roots with tension to boost body. Once hair was dry, he added texture to locks with dry shampoo, for that edgy, rocker look. He finished by sweeping bangs over to one side and setting with a fine mist of hairspray.
