"This look is popular right now because it's simple to do, but the result is sexy and dramatic since you can see it from the front," Frederic Fekkai stylist Lisa Niebrugge tells Us Weekly. "Plus, a side braid is flattering on everyone," she adds.
The key to pulling off a side braid is to keep it loose and messy, "You have to ruffle it up a bit so it doesn't look too kiddish," says Niebrugge.

Mist dry hair with a texturizing spray then weave into a low, undone braid, leaving out a few pieces around your face to soften the look. Secure with a clear elastic. Use your fingers to gently pull apart the braid so it's not too perfect.
