Inside LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony's Wedding

The new issue of Us Weekly has exclusive photos from LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony's luxe NYC wedding.

"It was the most amazing night of my life," the former MTV VJ, 31, tells Us of saying "I Do" on July 10 to her longtime beau (and father to 3-year-old son, Kiyan), Anthony, 26, who plays for the Denver Nuggets.

Vazquez walked down the aisle in a strapless organza Vera Wang gown and $250,000 worth of jewelry to Kelly Lattimore singing "For You" at the grand Cipriani 42nd street, which was decorated with hundreds of thousands of imported red roses (the groom's favorite color) and hydrangeas.

After a 20-minute ceremony, she changed to a Romona Keveza Collection frock, and kicked off a party with pals Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Kelly Rowland (who delivered a toast) and Ludacris. A photo booth served as a guest book; Kardashian and Serena Williams snapped a shot of their butts and drew an arrow with the note, "You can't handle this!"

"Dancing with everybody, letting their hair down -- it was so much fun!" says Vazquez, who went stage diving! James, newly signed to the Miami Heat, was the first to hit the floor ('70s and '80s R&B and hip-hop tunes were spun until 4 a.m.), and Ciara did an impromptu rap to her hit "Ride."

The 300-plus guests feasted on filet of beef and chocolate and red velvet cake Ron Ben-Israel wedding cake with an edible 22-karat gold monogram!

But even amid the frenzy of the festivities (masterminded by star wedding planner Mindy Weiss and filmed for a five-part reality series starting Sept. 19 on VH1), Vazquez found time to follow the advice of friend Khloe Kardashian (who couldn't be there). "She said, 'Today is your day... Soak it all in,'" Vazquez reported. So when she first saw the party space, complete with a red patent leather canopy bed for lounging, she paused to admire the scene. "I never saw anything like it before!" she marveled.

Once they were wed, Vazquez recalls, "I said, ‘I love you, and I'm so happy we did this.' He said, ‘It took us seven years, but we made it!'"
