Seems like POTUS isn't the only high-profile person to shop at the Gap!
Kate Middleton was spotted at a Gap store in Kensington, London, on March 31. And just like President Barack Obama, the Duchess of Cambridge browsed the store for her little one, Prince George, 8 months.
A source tells Us Weekly that Middleton, 32, picked up several items for the baby. Unlike the namesake cashmere sweater he wore for the royal portrait (a gift from grandpa Prince Charles!), the Gap items were more casual — and affordable. The Duchess bought a green plaid onesie (hopefully it was this adorable option), denim shorts, a navy-and-white striped onesie (perhaps this style), and navy-striped pants.
Since no trip to the Gap is complete without a drive-by through the women's department (according to Us, anyway!), Middleton also bought two pairs of pants for herself. All in, the royal mom paid about $210 (or 126 pounds) for her items and, according to a source, the future queen paid with her own credit card and didn't even skip the line, thank you very much.
It's no secret that Middleton's fashions sell out almost immediately after she's spotted wearing them, and with such adorable options for Prince George, we suspect the royal infant just might spark a shopping frenzy as well.
