Katy Perry Debuts Red Hair, Shows Off Bikini Bod

This firework has gone red!

She may be occupied with her California Dreams tour, but that doesn't mean Katy Perry is too busy for a major hair color upgrade -- she just traded her black tresses for newly dyed crimson locks!

Perry, 26, showed off her fiery new hue in Miami while sporting a polka dot baby pink bikini poolside on Tuesday.

Just last week the "E.T." singer hinted via Twitter about switching up her hair color: "Tonight I dye my hair a different color. Can you guess which color?" she asked her followers June 16.

The next day, she tweeted, "So I didn't get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long! To get to goal I have to be a ginger for three weeks!"

"If I don't wait three weeks, I'll end up with no hair or a pixie '90s cut with a barette in the front. It's okay, I'll get to my secret color(s) soon!" said her following tweet.

No word what Perry's "secret color" is, but it's nice to see her lightening up a bit for summer.

She looks better with red hair it suits her pale skin, and maybe blonde too would look nice on her since its her natural color, black looked ok on her but it made her seem so pale like a ghost I always wanted her to change her hair color and finally she did.

Obviously the "secret color" is blond. Anyone who lightens from black hair needs to go red first. Actually, she looks gorgeous with red hair...this is the best look for her. No pancake makeup, goofy looking wigs or lollipops taped to her boobs. If she looked natural like this all the time, I'd like her a lot more.
