Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are the proud parents of two kids under 2 following the September 19 birth of their new baby boy.
“Roman Augustus McCaffrey 🤍,” Culpo, 34, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 10, revealing her newborn son’s name. The post featured a variety of professional-looking photos of the family welcoming their newborn, including one pre-birth snap of Culpo preparing for a C-section with her husband by her side.
Culpo and McCaffrey — who tied the knot in June 2024 after five years of dating — previously welcomed daughter Colette in July 2025. Ten months later, the model and the San Francisco 49ers running back announced that she was pregnant and expecting their second baby.
“Best birthday gift ❤️,” the couple captioned their joint Instagram post on May 8, the day she celebrated turning 34. “Baby #2 coming soon 🥹.”
In the accompanying photos, Culpo and McCaffrey posed outside on a blanket alongside Colette, their dog and sonogram images of their little one on the way. She also debuted her baby bump in a long-sleeve, full-length white dress.
Later that month, Culpo revealed that she did not plan to get pregnant again so soon after having Colette, noting that she discovered she was four weeks along at six months postpartum.
“I did not think that this was going to happen the way that it did,” she shared in a May TikTok video. “I am so fortunate to be able to bring another child into the world. Few things that have been running through my mind, ‘cause I just really didn’t plan on this at all. … Well, I hope that this baby is healthy.”
While Culpo was “definitely not totally healed” from her C-section with Colette, she felt relieved that “plenty of people have done this before.”
“In the beginning, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, can I even do this? Is this allowed? Like, what’s gonna happen?’” she recalled. “I just wish that I had planned a little better.”
Since becoming parents to Colette, Culpo and McCaffrey have both opened up about how their daughter has changed their lives.
“I always knew he would be a really good dad because he’s a really good person,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “He has a really good example because his parents are great.”
Culpo emphasized the importance of Colette’s bond with McCaffrey at the time.
“He will be such a good example and protector to her. I know that she’ll always be able to feel like she has someone who loves her more than anything,” she gushed. “I feel like everybody deserves to feel that.”
Since Culpo considers herself a “daddy’s girl,” she quickly recognized the signs of a similar connection between McCaffrey and their daughter.
“I just feel like that’s what they’re going to be like too,” she explained. “It’s a really beautiful thing to see so early on. She loves her dad, and little girls really do. You see the way that they light up with their dad.”
In his own interview, McCaffrey told Us in February that watching Culpo become a mother “has been so cool.”
As for how the pair navigated first-time parenthood together, McCaffrey insisted the adjustment was “effortless.”
“We have the same values in life, there’s never really any conflict when it comes to that stuff,” he said. “Obviously I can’t be there for most of the day, and she really does love it. As a girl dad, you definitely get softer. I don’t care what anyone says.”
