Exclusive: Kim Kardashian: "It Took Me Three Hours to Get Ready for the Oscars!"

She looked amazing in a Jay Mendel dress at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in L.A. Sunday night, but just how long did it take Kim Kardashian to get ready?
"About three hours," Kardashian, 30, tells UsMagazine.com. "But not continuous. I stopped and ate, made some calls -- it was a lazy three hours."

The starlet said she actually picked out her Lorraine Schwartz sapphire earrings before deciding on the navy gown, noting, "when you play around with all of the jewelry and find the right dress, it just works out!"
But of course, the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star pointed out that the evening wasn't just about fashion.

"When I was a little girl, one of my mom's friends passed away from AIDS, so from a really young age, we became very well aware of the disease," said Kardashian. "It’s really cool that Elton puts his name with a cause that is so close to his heart. The glitz and the glam is fine, but when you come to an event with a good cause, it makes it even better!"

I have to add that it didn't take me 3 hours to get ready for my very formal wedding. An hour and a half is the longest it's ever taken me to prepare for anything, that includes shower and shaving. If it took me 3 hours to make myself look my best, my self image would take a real hit. What did she need to do, trowel on the plaster and sculpt a new face? Apologies for sounding so hateful, I'm just so tired of women who constantly tell us how beautiful they are, if you're that beautiful we'd know it w/o being told.
I usually don't post negativity, however, Kim is so overrated.. seriously, 3 hours to plaster all that crap on her face? She must be really ugly as a Plain Jane to have to spend that much time to look the same as she does every day. The publicity she gets is disgusting. And for what? Even when the Egypt tirade was going on we didn't hear as much about that devastation as we do for this dirty, pornographic, lying, cheating h0. Someone take away this girl. It's obvious from the posts 95% could give two craps about her, including myself. I can't believe I just wasted two minutes typing this. She gets enough attention for absolutely nothing. She is beautiful. I think she looks better with less makeup. Maybe next year she will only take 2 hours to get ready.
