Kim Kardashian isn't one to let her 5-foot-2 stature get her down — the reality superstar is constantly reaching new heights in sky-high heels.
Such was the case for her August 20 nuptials in Montecito, Calif., where the famous bride tied the knot with her 6-foot-9 beau Kris Humphries. Decked out in a strapless ivory Vera Wang gown, Kardashian walked down the aisle in towering Giuseppe Zanotti platform pumps.
The Italian shoe designer designed three different pairs of wedding day shoes for the E! star to go with each of her custom-made Vera Wang gowns.
"The first pair went with the princess dress that I wore during the wedding ceremony. They are closed-toe off-white satin with the crystal heel. I needed the height and wanted a sturdy heel because I was so afraid I was going to trip walking down the aisle! LOL," the 30-year-old posted on her website along with a pic of the shoes on August 29.
"For my mermaid gown I wore the peep toe white heels with the amazing beads on them," she continued. "And then thirdly, I wore the simple satin sling back peep toes with my simple satin old Hollywood gown."
Giuseppe Zanotti's luxe footwear styles are a red-carpet favorite among celebs. His platform peep-toe slingbacks retail for $595 and up and boast a 5.5-inch heel, while the double-platform pumps can run you $695 and add an impressive 5.75-inch boost to your height.
