Um, what? Kourtney Kardashian revealed that hydrating her skin isn't a major part of her beauty routine. In fact, she only does it four times a month.
"I don't moisturize my face very often, only about once a week at night," she told Cosmopolitan UK. "My skin isn't that dry, so my dermatologist told me just to use moisturizer when I feel like my skin needs it."
When she does reach for a hydrating helper, it's not your typical lotion or eye cream. "Instead…I like to use oils on my eyelids and under my eyes at nighttime," she said. “The skin around your eyes is so thin, I find creams to be a bit much and prefer the feeling of oils instead."
Her favorite oil is also her younger sister Khloé's go-to. "The natural stuff [is the best bargain]. I love using coconut oil for everything,” the mom of three said. "You can literally use it on your hair, skin, body, it does everything."
While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star rarely moisturizes, she always sleeps with a satin pillowcase. "I have done [this] for like 20 years," she noted. "Khloé's godmother, who passed away a long time ago, used to tell us that we should always sleep with a satin pillowcase as it's better for your skin and hair, so I have done ever since."
Other skincare products in her arsenal include Manuka Doctor's Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Gold Dust Firming Serum (she's a spokesperson for the brand), and EltaMD sunscreen, recommended by her dermatologist.
