Ugly sweaters are no longer just a Christmas tradition!
Lena Dunham, Brie Larson, Hailee Steinfeld, and Jennifer Connelly have promoted films at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah this week—and each lady has rocked a funky sweater there, too!
Spicing up the style needed to brave the West this time of year, Steinfeld, 18, kicked off the first weekend by wearing Tommy Hilfiger’s colorful topper to Kari Feinstein’s Sundance Style Lounge on Saturday, Jan. 24. The Ten Thousand Saints actress paired the style with J Brand jeans and wool-lined Coach boots.
The next day, Dunham, 28, donned a cream Coach sweater, emblazoned with a hilarious, pink cartoon pup, and Loeffler Randall boots to host Sex, Film, and Politics, an event in support of Planned Parenthood. The Girls star’s friend, Larson, 25, arrived in her own Coach sweater—the celeb-loved, already-sold-out Apollo style—resulting in a mutual admiration fest.
Then at the IMDb & Amazon Instant Video Studio on Jan. 26, Connelly, 44, modeled a Louis Vuitton fair-isle sweater, though hers boasted the business-y upgrade of a slim fit and zipper. Keeping things professional, the Aloft actress also added tailored slacks and rust-hued patent boots, also by Louis Vuitton.
Last, but not least, we must remind you that the ugly sweater trend need not be limited to, well, actual sweaters. Funny knitted hats count, too! One of our favorites: Chanel Iman‘s slouchy, cat-eared, pom-topped hat, complete with a black veil, which she wore to the Birchbox pop-up shop in the ski town.
